My wife and I were traveling to a family member’s home town Eureka. Once we arrived, they shared with us the they wanted to learn the game of PickleBall. We did not travel with our Pickleball gear. So, were told about a local Humboldt pickleball company. We went to this site and bought this set for me and my wife’s cousin’s husband. Specifically, the paddles are worth reviewing. They were awesome, and quite frankly well above the bar for being considered as “Beginner” paddles. I say this because wife and I are considered by many as advanced players. I slayed the game, and the rookie cousin hubby had great control well beyond expectations! These are no ordinary “Beginner’s” paddles!
Get them if you want a great start to a fun game. Do not buy cheap gear that could easily disenfranchise you!

Really love the grip – small enough for most women, to whom I think this paddle is (mostly) marketed. It has the “pro” label and it’s well made and substantial. The grip is comfortable, without those tape beads that dig into my hand, and just a bit of squish, so that it feels really solid.
